Billingsley won the last time they faced Jemison and things went their way on Thursday too. The Billingsley Bears walked away with a 12-7 victory over the Jemison Panthers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.
Billingsley let Trent Cobern and Mason Truesdale loose on the outfield. Cobern scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances, while Truesdale scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. That's the most stolen bases Truesdale has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Hudson Manning, who scored two runs while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
Billingsley's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Jemison, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
