Softball Recap: Four Straight Road Victories for Paragould

Paragould won the last time they faced Batesville and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Paragould Rams put the hurt on the Batesville Pioneers with a sharp 16-1 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.

Paragould pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Batesville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Coming up, Paragould will square off against Horatio at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Paragould is facing Horatio at the right time seeing as Horatio is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Batesville will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Highland at 4:30 p.m. on March 31st.
