Volleyball Recap: Hueneme Comes Up Short

Hueneme came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Channel Islands Raiders, falling 3-0. The Vikings have struggled against the Raiders recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Hueneme took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-13, 25-20.

Hueneme's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Channel Islands, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-3.

Hueneme has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Fillmore on the 3rd. As for Channel Islands, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Malibu on the 3rd.
