Vero Beach had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They had just enough and edged out the Treasure Coast Titans 7-6 on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Indians sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Brandon Walker looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Jace Romans was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Cole Morgan, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Vero Beach's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-1. As for Treasure Coast, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-14.

Coming up, Vero Beach will square off against Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Treasure Coast does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
