Basketball Game Preview: Waynesboro Little Giants vs. Buffalo Gap Bison

The Waynesboro Little Giants will head out on the road to square off against the Buffalo Gap Bison at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Waynesboro has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 21.

On Monday, Waynesboro had to suffer through a 71-33 loss at the hands of Staunton. While losing is never fun, the Little Giants can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 343rd, while the Storm are ranked 39th).

Meanwhile, Buffalo Gap was beaten by Wilson Memorial 65-37 on Monday. The Bison have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Buffalo Gap's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Waynesboro, their loss dropped their record down to 3-18.

Waynesboro beat Buffalo Gap 63-55 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Waynesboro since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
