Basketball Recap: Humble Takes a Loss

Humble was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 63-56 to the Goose Creek Memorial Patriots. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Wildcats came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 248th, while the Patriots are ranked 549th).

Humble's loss dropped their record down to 15-15. As for Goose Creek Memorial, the win snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 13-19 record.

Humble has already played their next matchup, a 56-50 defeat against Kingwood on the 4th. As for Goose Creek Memorial, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 83-61 loss against Atascocita on the 4th.
