Softball Recap: Calhoun Finds Home Field Redemption Against Sinton

There's no place like home for Calhoun, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over the Sinton Pirates on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Sandcrabs needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Braylyn Galloway was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three runs. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Veronica Zavala, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Calhoun now has a winning record of 14-13. As for Sinton, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-17.

As of now, neither Calhoun nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
