Volleyball Game Preview: Georgia Christian Generals vs. Sherwood Christian Academy Eagles

The Georgia Christian Generals will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Sherwood Christian Academy Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Georgia Christian is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Thomasville. The Generals came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 2-0 on Monday. The Generals haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

While Georgia Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Sherwood Christian Academy earned a 2-0 victory over Calhoun County on Tuesday.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Sherwood Christian Academy was: they took both sets by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-4, 25-10.
