Football Recap: Santaluces Takes a Loss

Santaluces is still winless after their contest against Leonard on Wednesday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 9-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Leonard Lancers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chiefs of the 14-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Santaluces' loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Leonard, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-7.

Coincidentally, Santaluces and Leonard will both be playing St. John Paul II Academy the next time they take the field. Leonard will host St. John Paul II Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Santaluces will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
