Baseball Recap: Springfield Southeast Wins Going Away Against St. Teresa

The Springfield Southeast Spartans made easy work of the St. Teresa Bulldogs on Saturday and carried off a 14-1 win.

The team relied heavily on B Twist, who went 2-for-3 with five RBI, three runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was D Marcum, who scored three runs and stole four bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

The victory got Springfield Southeast back to even at 1-1. As for St. Teresa, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Springfield Southeast will face off against Argenta-Oreana at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. Teresa, they will welcome Cerro Gordo/Bement at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
