Lake Zurich lost against Joliet West back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bears fell 2-0 to the Tigers.

Lake Zurich lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ella Elsen, who had 12 assists and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more assists the last three times she's played.

Lake Zurich's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Joliet West, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.
