Football Recap: Castle View Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Castle View fell victim to Valor Christian and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Eagles and fell 56-0. The Sabercats haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Drew Reid threw for 111 yards on eight of 16 attempts. Jack Schwartz was his top target, picking up 58 receiving yards.

Chase Hanosh was his usual excellent self, rushing for 126 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries for Valor Christian. Hanosh's longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Cash Spence got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Castle View now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Valor Christian, their record is now 5-2.

Castle View has already played their next game, a 20-17 victory against Rock Canyon on the 18th. As for Valor Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-7 win against ThunderRidge on the 17th.
