Kettle Falls is 9-1 against Chewelah since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Kettle Falls Bulldogs will take on the Chewelah Cougars at 6:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Tuesday, Kettle Falls ended up a good deal behind Northwest Christian School and lost 58-39. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Crusaders recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, Chewelah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by Northwest Christian School 61-12. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 332nd, while the Crusaders are ranked 52nd).

Chewelah's defeat dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Kettle Falls, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.

Everything came up roses for Kettle Falls against Chewelah in their previous matchup back in January, as the team secured a 65-10 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kettle Falls since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
