Basketball Recap: Ridgeline Comes Up Short

Ridgeline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 77-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sandpoint Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 211th in Washington, while the Bulldogs are ranked 61st in Idaho).

When it comes to explaining why Ridgeline lost, don't look at Caden Andreas. Despite the final result, he went 10 of 18 on his way to 25 points. The contest was Andreas' ninth in a row with at least ten points. Ayden Pulsipher was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Ridgeline's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Sandpoint, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-7.

Ridgeline wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 69-64 defeat against Gonzaga Prep on the 14th. Sandpoint has also already played their next matchup (against St. Maries), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
