It was a good run, but Hudson unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 62-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Denver Cyclones. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 46-44 back in December of 2024.

Hudson's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-4. As for Denver, they pushed their record up to 15-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home.

Hudson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 62-18 win against East Marshall on the 24th. As for Denver, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-45 loss against Gladbrook-Reinbeck on the 24th.
