Football Recap: Marcus Kilgore Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Lakeside

The third road matchup was the charm for Dumas, as they earned their first away win of the season. They came out on top against the Lakeside Beavers by a score of 14-7 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Beavers: they've now won eight in a row.

Dumas' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Marcus Kilgore, who picked up 129 receiving yards and one score. Kilgore showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 67 yards. Another passer making a difference was Kyle Young, who threw for 168 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 84.6% of his passes.

Lakeside's loss came despite strong showings from Vincent King Jr and AJ Wilson. King Jr rushed for 114 yards on only 13 carries, while Wilson rushed for 46 yards and one TD.
