Soccer Game Preview: Cedar Valley vs. Bingham

The Cedar Valley Aviators will face off against the Bingham Miners at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cedar Valley has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 25.

Cedar Valley fought the good fight in their overtime match against Riverton on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Silverwolves by a score of 3-2. While losing is never fun, Cedar Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah soccer rankings (they are ranked 88th, while Riverton are ranked 34th).

Meanwhile, Bingham's game on Wednesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They skirted past Westlake 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Bingham.

Cedar Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Bingham, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.
