Basketball Game Preview: Oyster River Bobcats vs. Merrimack Valley The Pride

Oyster River and Merrimack Valley are an even 3-3 against one another since January of 2015, but not for long. The Oyster River Bobcats will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Merrimack Valley The Pride at 6:30 p.m. Both teams are still undefeated (Oyster River has six wins , while Merrimack Valley has five).

Oyster River will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Lebanon, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. Oyster River simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Lebanon 68-34. The match marked the Bobcats' most dominant win of the season so far.

Meanwhile, Merrimack Valley had just enough and edged Milford out 53-50 on Friday. The 53-point effort marked the The Pride's lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Oyster River pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points per game. As for Merrimack Valley, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.
