Soccer Recap: Moorpark Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

Moorpark won the last time they faced Simi Valley and things went their way on Friday too. The Moorpark Musketeers never let the Simi Valley Pioneers onto the board and left with a 2-0 win. Given the Musketeers' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Pioneers are ranked 774th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Brady Conyers was the driving force of Moorpark's attack as he scored both of Moorpark's goals, bringing his season total up to seven goals.
