Baseball Game Preview: Tri-West Hendricks Bruins vs. Harrison Raiders

The Tri-West Hendricks Bruins will venture away from home to face off against the Harrison Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Tri-West Hendricks has six straight victories, Harrison has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Wednesday, it was close, but Tri-West Hendricks sidestepped Frankfort for a 2-1 win.

Luke Haboush looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Tri-West Hendricks saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Keller, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Meanwhile, Harrison fell victim to Westfield and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shamrocks.

Tri-West Hendricks pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Harrison, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-4.

Tri-West Hendricks came out on top in a nail-biter against Harrison when the teams last played back in May of 2024, sneaking past 5-4. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bruins since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
