Basketball Recap: Washington Triumphs

Washington hadn't done well against Moon Valley recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Washington Rams snuck past the Moon Valley Rockets with a 49-43 victory. The Rams have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rockets, too.

Several Rockets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jordan Sepulveda, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Elias Tenorio, who posted nine points.

The win got Washington back to even at 2-2. As for Moon Valley, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Washington will be playing at home against Buckeye at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th. As for Moon Valley, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-35 loss against Marcos de Niza on the 6th.
