Preview: Solid Rock Christian School Swordsmen vs. Fairview Christian
The Solid Rock Christian School Swordsmen will play host again and welcome Fairview Christian, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Solid Rock Christian School focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Friday.
Last Friday, it was a hard-fought matchup, but Solid Rock Christian School had to settle for a 42-39 defeat against Somerset Bible Baptist Christian Academy.
Despite their loss, Solid Rock Christian School saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Josh Bewley, who scored 12 points, was perhaps the best of all. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bewley has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jimmy Fulleylove, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, Fairview Christian blew past Calvary Christian Academy, posting a 64-31 win at home.
Solid Rock Christian School now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Fairview Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Solid Rock Christian School strolled past Fairview Christian when the teams last played back in January of 2016 by a score of 43-24. Does Solid Rock Christian School have another victory up their sleeve, or will Fairview Christian turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
