Volleyball Game Preview: Redwood Giants vs. Marin Catholic Wildcats + Official Tickets

The Redwood Giants will face off against the Marin Catholic Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Redwood will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Wednesday, Redwood beat Tamalpais 3-1.

Redwood walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 21-25, 25-16, 25-10.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Marin Catholic rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Bulls. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted since September 20th.

Marin Catholic was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-16, 14-25, 25-20, 15-11.

Marin Catholic's win bumped their record up to 24-5. As for Redwood, their victory bumped their record up to 18-8.

Redwood couldn't quite get it done against Marin Catholic in their previous meeting on October 8th as they fell 3-1. Can the Giants avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
