Football Recap: Conval Beats Milford for Their Third Straight Victory

ConVal entered their tilt with Milford on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 21-18 win over the Spartans. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The victory got ConVal back to even at 4-4. As for Milford, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. ConVal will square off against Stark at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars will be up against the Generals' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.63 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Milford, they will challenge Pelham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pythons' defense has only allowed 9.8 points per game this season, so the Spartans' offense will have their work cut out for them.
