West Rusk is 1-9 against Tatum since March of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. West Rusk will head out on the road to challenge Tatum at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
West Rusk will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Troup, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. West Rusk came out on top against Troup by a score of 7-4 on Friday.

Jason Reasoner made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. West Rusk is 2-0-1 when Reasoner allowsone or fewer hits, but 4-8 otherwise. Reasoner was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Troy Hunley, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he hit this season.
Meanwhile, Tatum waltzed into their matchup on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Everything went their way against the Bears as they made off with a 13-0 victory. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by eight runs or more this season.
Cooper Whiteus was incredible, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Grant Adcock, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Tatum kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive contests.
Tatum pushed their record up to 12-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for West Rusk, their record is now 6-8-1.
West Rusk came up short against Tatum in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, falling 6-1. Can West Rusk avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
