Kearney barely beat Omaha Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bearcats blew past the Eagles 6-2 on Saturday. The result was nothing new for Kearney, who have now won six games by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Omaha Central with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kyler Eklund (2), Kaden Slaymaker (2), and Aiden Nutter (2).

Kearney's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those four matchups. As for Omaha Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

Looking ahead, Kearney will take on Lincoln Southwest at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lincoln Southwest's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Omaha Central, they will challenge Omaha South at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Omaha Central's defense better be ready for this one: Omaha South have averaged an impressive 2.9 goals per game this season.
