Baseball Game Preview: East Windsor Panthers vs. East Granby Crusaders

East Windsor is 2-8 against East Granby since May of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Panthers are taking a road trip to challenge the Crusaders at 3:45 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

East Windsor is headed into Wednesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Tuesday. They came up short against Lewis Mills, falling 11-2.

East Windsor saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elias Jacobs, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, East Granby fell victim to Ellington and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 15-0 to the Knights. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

East Windsor's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for East Granby, they dropped their record down to 4-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

East Windsor couldn't quite get it done against East Granby in their previous matchup back in May of 2023 as they fell 6-1. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
