Volleyball Recap: Oswego's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Oswego had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They came out on top against the Oswego East Wolves by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Oswego easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-19.

Peter Barnes paced Oswego's offense, picking up nine kills. Barnes got some help from Greyson Covay and his 21 assists. Will Mundsinger controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Oswego pushed their record up to 19-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Oswego East, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season.

Oswego wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Bolingbrook on the 13th. As for Oswego East, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Joliet West on the 13th.
