Soccer Recap: Boerne Takes a Loss

Boerne entered their game against Pieper on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Boerne Greyhounds took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pieper Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 back in February.

Boerne's defeat dropped their record down to 13-4-1. As for Pieper, the win (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 19-4.

Looking ahead, Boerne will head out on the road to face off against New Braunfels at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Pieper does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
