There's no place like home for Northwestern, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They blew past the Westland Hialeah Wildcats 11-0 on Monday. The Bulls haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Bryon Fox made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in earned runs (zero). He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing Four bases. while going 2-for-3. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Northwestern let E Barker and B Baez run wild. Barker scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-2, while Baez scored two runs and stole Four bases. The dominant performance gave Baez a new career-high in runs. Deeangelo Echevarria also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.

Northwestern always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .565. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The win got Northwestern back to even at 2-2. As for Westland Hialeah, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
