Volleyball Recap: Countryside Cougars vs. Springstead Eagles
Countryside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Springstead Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
The final score came out to 25-8, 25-20.
Countryside's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Springstead, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7.
