Upperman has gone 9-1 against Watertown recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Upperman Bees will venture away from home to take on the Watertown Purple Tigers at 5:30 p.m. Upperman hasn't scored more than a single run for seven games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Upperman came into this matchup off a tough 12-run loss on Monday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Livingston Academy by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.

Upperman saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Khloe Harper, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI. That RBI was Harper's first of the season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Watertown). They put the hurt on Smith County with a sharp 14-2 victory on Thursday. The Purple Tigers haven't had any issues with the Owls recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Watertown got a massive performance out of Alyssa Wood, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases Wood has posted since back in April of 2024. Kayla McGuire was another key player, going 1-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.

Watertown's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Upperman, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Upperman came out on top in a nail-biter against Watertown in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 8-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for Upperman since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
