Lawrence County had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Shelby Valley Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since March 25th.

Gray Derifield was excellent, earning one run and three stolen bases. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played.

Lawrence County's victory bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Shelby Valley, they dropped their record down to 5-19 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lawrence County will welcome Blazer at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
