Volleyball Recap: Lutheran Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Winnebago Indians. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Lutheran sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 22-25, 25-16.

Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Winnebago, their victory bumped their record up to 7-17-1.

Lutheran didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Johnsburg on the 18th. As for Winnebago, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Mendota on the 18th.
