Basketball Recap: Admiral Farragut Takes a Loss

Admiral Farragut was the 32-29 winner over Hollins when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Admiral Farragut BlueJackets lost to the Hollins Royals at home by a 41-26 margin on Wednesday. The BlueJackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Summer Morgan continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Hollins, going 10 of 15 on her way to 23 points and six steals. Morgan has been hot, having posted four or more steals the last six times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Destini Solomon, who posted eight points and six steals.

Admiral Farragut's record is now 1-4. As for Hollins, they moved to 1-6 with that win, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Admiral Farragut will head out to challenge Bayshore Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hollins, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Largo at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
