Softball Recap: Olmsted Falls Bulldogs vs. Westlake Demons
Olmsted Falls won against Cuyahoga Heights last Monday with 14 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Olmsted Falls Bulldogs came out on top against the Westlake Demons by a score of 14-10. Both teams can probably skip cardio this week after making that many trips around the bases.
BROOKE LARGENT was incredible, going 3-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and a triple. The team also got some help courtesy of KATIE VORMELKER, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Olmsted Falls' win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Westlake, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 0-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Olmsted Falls will take on Strongsville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Westlake, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Elyria Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
