Valley City waltzed into their contest on Monday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with a 64-56 victory over the Devils Lake Firebirds. This was a revenge game for the Hi-Liners: when they faced off against the Firebirds back in January, they had to take a 66-64 defeat.

Valley City is also on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. As for Devils Lake, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valley City will head out to take on Lisbon at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Valley City is facing Lisbon at the right time seeing as Lisbon is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Devils Lake, they will head out on the road to challenge Hillsboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
