Volleyball Recap: Hiland Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

Hiland had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Claymont Mustangs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hawks also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Hiland walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-20, 25-13, 25-16.

Addi Mast paced Hiland's offense, picking up 20 kills. Mast got some help from Brianna Mishler and her 28 assists. Olivia Miller controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Hiland's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Claymont, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Hiland has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Western Reserve Academy on the 30th. As for Claymont, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Indian Valley on the 30th.
