Softball Recap: Sebastopol Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Sebastopol couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eupora Eagles on Friday. The Bobcats' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Emma Smith and Bryleigh Myers stepped up to the plate in a big way. Smith went 2-for-3 with two runs, while Myers got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Cyrish Magculang, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Sebastopol's defeat dropped their record down to 26-5. As for Eupora, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Sebastopol nor Eupora have any future games scheduled.
