Volleyball Recap: Mission Hills Takes a Loss

Mission Hills lost against El Cajon Valley back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Grizzlies fell just short of the Braves by a score of 2-1. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Mission Hills sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 31-29, 22-25, 15-11.

Despite the loss, Mission Hills still got an impressive performance from Noah Buhler, who had 15 assists and six digs. Buhler has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more assists the last nine times he's played.

Mission Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for El Cajon Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-5 record this season.

Mission Hills has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Otay Ranch on the 26th. As for El Cajon Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against San Dieguito Academy on the 26th.
