Baseball Recap: North Side Takes a Loss

North Side and Burleson squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but North Side had to settle for second. They came up short against the Elks, falling 8-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Steers of the 7-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2022.

North Side's defeat dropped their record down to 16-18. As for Burleson, their win bumped their record up to 23-7.

While North Side had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
