Hawthorne Math & Science Academy's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Rolling Hills Prep Huskies by a score of 3-1. The Aviators haven't had any issues with the Huskies recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The victory didn't come easy: Rolling Hills Prep scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 19-25, 25-19, 25-19.

Hawthorne Math & Science Academy's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-9 and their overall record up to 6-9. As for Rolling Hills Prep, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.
