Soccer Recap: El Cajon Valley Comes Up Short

El Cajon Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Canyon Hills Rattlers. While losing is never fun, the Braves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 953rd, while the Rattlers are ranked 291st).

El Cajon Valley's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Canyon Hills, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.

El Cajon Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Canyon Hills, they will square off against La Jolla at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Canyon Hills is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.
