Volleyball Recap: Mcclave Beats Simla for Their Fifth Straight Win

McClave took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Simla, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Cardinals sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Cubs on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Cardinals sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row dating back to last season.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day McClave got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 18-25, 15-10.

McClave's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Simla, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, McClave will head out on the road to challenge Cheraw at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Simla, they will host Byers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
