East Forsyth is 8-1-1 against R.J. Reynolds since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Demons at 7:00 p.m. East Forsyth is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.

The final result isn't all the surprising considering East Forsyth's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 70th, while Reagan are ranked 232nd).

East Forsyth hit Reagan with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Emma Owens (2), Kaya Adams, and Mylie Lockwood.

Meanwhile, R.J. Reynolds hadn't done well against Reagan recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Demons walked away with a 2-0 win over the Raiders. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

East Forsyth's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for R.J. Reynolds, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 6-3-3.

East Forsyth came out on top in a nail-biter against R.J. Reynolds in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Demons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
