Softball Recap: Rehoboth Christian Gets the Win

Rehoboth Christian won the last time they faced Zuni and things went their way on Wednesday too. Rehoboth Christian blew past Zuni 13-2. The Lynx not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 7, 2024.

Taylen Esalio was a standout: she scored four runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Leigh House, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two triples, two runs, and one stolen base.

Rehoboth Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. The last time their batting average was this high was back in May of 2024.

Rehoboth Christian's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Zuni, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Rehoboth Christian will face off against Loving at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Zuni, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Laguna Acoma at 3:00 p.m. on April 7.
