Old Mill came into Thursday's match looking for another win against Chesapeake Science Point, but Emma Wishard wouldn't allow it. Chesapeake Science Point walked away with a 3-1 victory over Old Mill on Thursday with plenty of help from Wishard, who had five digs and four aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.1 aces per game.

Chesapeake Science Point had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-20, 28-26, 25-16.

The win got Chesapeake Science Point back to even at 4-4. As for Old Mill, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
