South Beloit entered their tilt with Alden-Hebron on Tuesday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Green Giants. The Sobos have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Green Giants, too.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-16.

Serena Hoffman paced South Beloit's offense, picking up six kills. Hoffman got some help from Macey Lineman and her 12 assists.

South Beloit's win bumped their record up to 22-5. As for Alden-Hebron, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-24 record this season.

South Beloit will venture away from home to square off against Harvard at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Alden-Hebron, they will welcome Christian Liberty at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
