Softball Recap: Bracken County Victorious

Bracken County's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They walked away with an 11-7 victory over the Perry County Central Commodores. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Polar Bears also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2025.

The team relied heavily on Kyndall Johnson, who fired off three home runs and six RBI while going 3-for-4. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ella Burton, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Bracken County lost a few balls and finished the game with five home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Perry County Central only launched one.

Bracken County's win bumped their record up to 13-15-1. As for Perry County Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-10.

Coming up, Bracken County will take on Harrison County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Perry County Central, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-3 victory against Montgomery County on the 2nd.
