Basketball Game Preview: Priory Ravens vs. McCluer Comets

The Priory Ravens will face off against the McCluer Comets at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Priory and five for McCluer.

Priory saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They took a blow against St. Dominic, falling 71-24. The matchup marked the Ravens' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, McCluer was beaten by Belleville West 51-24 last Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Comets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 351st in Missouri, while the Maroons are ranked 57th in Illinois).

McCluer's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Priory, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.
